The winery is located just 2 hours from Berlin, in the north-east of Germany. It is about 20 ha of land, of which more than 4 ha are approved vineyards. Currently, different varieties of red and white wine are grown (Yield approx. 20,000 liters per year). The estate consists of an English landscaped park with over 700 year old oaks and glades.
Built in 1802 to 1806 in classisist style as an 11-axis building, Schloss Rattey is currently used as a palace hotel (14 suites and rooms) with restaurant, sauna and spa.
The outbuilding „Alter Reitstall“ (ancient riding stable): which was built around 1835, is currently used as a festival barn with admission to 200 people. Also a winery with a capacity of 30,000 l (stainless steel tanks) is located there.
The estate also includes the complete agricultural equipment including two vineyard tugs and a grassland tractor, mowers, etc.
The „Alter Reitstall“ also houses a farm shop for the sale of the wines and other regional products. The outbuilding "Schwarze Küche“ (black kitchen) is a former sexton house from 1791 with historical open kitchen and offers an event capacity for 60 persons
